The Month of June

Summer vacation was supposed to be relaxing, having fun, and hanging out with friends, kind of like “Jersey Shore.” June, the month that starts that time capsule was none of the above for me. My June was filled with transition. Finishing spring quarter at Cal Poly with projects, papers, and finals then starting right up with Cuesta College summer courses in macroeconomics and ceramics.

One event did stand out in June. I was asked to travel with a floral design team from Cal Poly. We helped with flower arrangements at the Los Angeles Skirball location for the Tony Awards. Team Cal Poly included five students and our dedicated instructor who did all the driving and advising.
